America's Best Dance Crew Season 3 Preview Clip from Pacific Rim Video/Photo Press

For the ABDC fans who have been asking me to post more videos, here is a preview video I created that has some highlights and shout outs of upcoming video clips I will post week by week.

Starting next monday, I will post a video clip each week for the next 8 weeks of interviews with various dance crews who auditioned for Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew Season 3 in Los Angeles.

Group interviews include Street Vibe, Quest, Boxcuttuhz Show, Head Hunters and The Hype from Hawaii.

Per all your requests, here is the preview clip you've been waiting for...

"Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew Season 3" will premiere on MTV in January '09.

Wentworth Miller sneaks pass the media arrivals at The Paley Center

Here in Los Angeles (actually Beverly Hills), The Paley Center For Media hosts various events pertaining to television shows. Last night, The Paley Cener hosted a special on "Prison Break." Fans were treated to a q&a with the actors and executive producers of the show. The talent also took arrival shots with photographers and spoke to the video crews about "Prison Break."

However, we were disappointed with Wentworth Miller. He opted not to walk the arrivals and talk to the media. Apparently, he was running late in arriving to the Paley Center. However, autograph seekers who were diligently waiting outside the center said to departing event photographers that Wentworth had actually arrived about a half an hour ago.

Amaury Nolasco

Oh well, that's the life of a event photographer, sometimes the individuals that you want show up but don't want to walk the carpet or do interviews, other times, they love to soak up the attention that comes along with being a celebrity.

Sarah Wayne Callies

However, it wasn't a total lost cause as we were graced with the arrival of the tall and lovely Sarah Wayne Callies, Hispanic Hunk Amaury Nolasco with is ever contagious smile, strong man Wade Williams, Robert Knepper with his cool Reebok shoes, and the guy who keeps it all together producer Matt Olmstead. Miss Jodi Lyn O'keefe had to back out at the last minute as she was a bit ill.

Robert Knepper can pass for Johnny Depp's dad.

But all in all, it was still an "Over The Shoulder" event.

America's Best Dance Crew getting ready for Season 3

In the last few weeks, Randy Jackson and crew have been searching high and low throughout the U.S. for the next group of dance crews to battle it for season three of the widely popular MTV series "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew." I had the pleasure to check out the Los Angeles leg of the audition and will have posts with video interviews of auditioning crews, choreographer Napoleon D'Umo, judge Shane Sparks and the master of the show Randy Jackson.

Randy Jackson says, "Three Baby!" As in Season Three.

On in unusually warm Saturday in October at the Foresight Studios in Los Angeles, a grip of dance crews came a calling for their chance to vie for a spot on the MTV show, "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew."

With the success of season two, more unique groups have come to play on the hallowed ABDC ground. From Krumpers to a crew from the Aloha State, potential ABDC crews took to pounding the pavement to illustrate their moves to sway the judges to pick them as a crew for the live tapings.

In this first post of the upcoming Season 3 show, I had the pleasure of speaking to choreographer Napoleon D'Umo about his duties as a scout in widdling down the candidates for the live show, how he got involved and what crews need to do to wow the judges.

Napoleon D'Umo works behind the cameras to help decide what crews will head to the live show of ABDC.

My interview with Napoleon D'Umo

Next ABDC post will be of Quest Dance crew who participated in the Los Angeles Audition.

Marky Mark takes a "Max Payne" on the carpet

Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis take control of the red carpet for the World Premiere of "Max Payne" at the Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood this past October 13, 2008.

Mark Wahlberg

Wow how the young have grown. From Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch to a Hollywood career, Mark Wahlberg has shown that he has what it takes to stay afloat in the dog eat dog world of Hollywood. Mark joins Mila Kunis in "Max Payne."

According to Yahoo, Max Payne is a maverick cop--a mythic anti-hero--determined to track down those responsible for the brutal murders of his family and partner. Hell-bent on revenge, his obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmare journey into a dark underworld. As the mystery deepens, Max is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal.

Mila Kunis has grown up from the days of "That 70's Show." I was blown away with the strikingly beautiful look she had going on this night. Definitely a woman is born. Hopefully, the film shows her acting chops.

Mila Kunis

Along with Mila Kunis was singer Nelly Furtado. Everyone definitely were saying "Whoa Nelly!" as they noticed her bum. One photographer blurted out, "My Gawd! It's probably bigger than J-Lo." I'm sure Nelly was loving the attention.

Nelly Furtado.

For the ladies, Rodrigo Santoro showed up to the premiere. If all can remember, he was in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and also played the androgynous looking Xerxes in "300." However, for some reason his publicist was wisking him away from spot to spot that she made him skip a whole section in which i was one of at least 15 photographers who did not capture the essence of Mr. Santoro.

Ladies not to worry as rough and romantic Amaury Nolasco was able to stop for the cameras. For the hip-hop lovers, I was able to take a quick shot of Chris "Ludacris" Bridges on the carpet. Of course, the same publicist who walked Rodrigo down the carpet, commandeered Ludacris from posing long enough for us to get a good shot of him.

Amaury Nolasco.

Chris "Ludacris" Bridges

Overall the premiere would've been an exciting "payne" to enjoy sans that one publicist.

"Max Payne" opens in theaters in Oct 17, 2008

Wildcat Roam The Red Carpet for "High School Musical 3: Senior Year"

Bringing the cast and crew back together for "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" was the culmination of the High School Musical trilogy. Here's a quick recap of the premiere held at USC's Galen Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Kenny Ortega.

Last night definitely was the night for anyone that's a fan of the "High School Musical" films. Jumping from the small screen to the big screen was a task in itself. Bringing the sights, sounds and music had Kenny Ortega and crew ensuring that this would be the best High School Musical" film yet.

The Wildcats of East High took over two city blocks of Los Angeles causing an exciting traffic jam as fans lined the street bordering University of Southern California. From the marquee of "High School Musical" to gigantic posters plastered throughout the red carpet exuded the excite of the film even if you were not a fan of the films.

The tv show Extra had an extra special photo booth for the celebrities to take a shot of themselves on the Extra stage with usnaps.com's photo booth.

Alongside the photo booth, guests were given pompoms to cheer on the talent while watching the film. The screams in the air while the stars showed up was drowned out as the USC Marching Band took the the carpet with their drums, trumpets and all the musical instruments that enhances the Go! Fight! Win! spirit lifted the spirits of the premiere goers.

As the calvacade of celebrities from the Disney shows such as "Wizards of Waverly Place," made their way down the carpet, we finally saw the cast slowly come through. First off was Alyson Reed who played Ms. Darbus. How young she looked without the glasses and the wig.

Alyson Reed.

Then Kaycee Stroh strolled on the carpet with a lovely beige number that flowed on her nicely. As she was being interviewed by ET, she showed us why she was a part of the "High School Musical" phenomena with her hip-hop shoulder moves.

Kaycee Stroh.

Ryne Sanborn took to the carpet in a dapper suit. Selena Gomez of "Wizards of Waverly Place" was looking cute as ever. Looks like she's going to give Miley Cyrus a run for her money.

Ryne Sanborn.

David Henrie arrived with Lucy Hale of the tv show "Priviledged."

Madison Pettis definitely had her game plan on for the premiere as she waved and smiled for the cameras.

Finally after a long wait, Ashley Tisdale made it to the red carpet with a new hair color. No more blond for this sexy chick as she plans to release a more rocky and edgier album this coming February or April.

Ashley Tisdale.

As she walked the carpet the photographers went crazy trying to get her attention to look at her camera. Thankfully for me, I did a 1:1 interview with her this past Sunday. So when I took my camera away from my face, I waved at Ashley hoping she'd remember my face from the interview. To my surprise she stared into my camera lens for a good 30-45 seconds which is really good when shooting the big name stars of the movie.

Oleysa Rulin was sporting a nice tan and piercing eyes that were hidden behind glasses in the film.

Oleysa Rulin.

Vanessa Hudgens wore a beige dress. As she was being interviewed by ET, Ashley came back from the other end of the carpet to make sure to say surprise and say hi to her. Was a bit cute to see them shriek at each other in excitement.

Vanessa has a cute smile.

Ashley Surprises Vanessa during her interview with ET.

However, Zac Efron's appearance made more girls shriek on the streets surrounding the event as he exited from his limo. Looking all dapper and fresh from a new tan, Zac helped mesmerize the fans into excitement.

Zac freshly groomed.

After the last celebrity left along with the majority of the photographers, Paula Abdul showed long after the press were wrapping up. Not a single photographer took a shot of her. I tried to get her attention by shouting, "Hey, Paula!" Didn't work...It was like a Sunday driver with no cares in the world and not paying attention to her surroundings.

Monique Coleman.

Corbin Bleu

Oh well, that was the red carpet event for "High School Musical 3: Senior Year."

At least I know I made a young girl happy. More importantly my niece Madison as she was able to experience the excitement of a premiere for a movie she loves.

Until next time, "Over The Shoulder!" And don't forget to watch "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" this coming October 24, 2008.

The Wildcats get ready for Graduation for the U.S. Premiere

It's a big day for The Wildcat Seniors of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" as they get ready for the big U.S. Premiere at the University of Southern California's Galen Center. With their Wildcat gear in tow, the gang moves from the small screen to the big with more musical numbers, laughter and just all out fun as they maneuver their way through their last year in high school.

In "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," Troy (Zac Efron), Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and the rest of the senior crew are recruited by Kelsi (Oleysa Rulin) to volunteer their time to create a new high school musical that will reflect their three years at East High School culiminating to their graduation day. Along the way, each senior must make a decision that will affect their lives after high school. For Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), he must struggle with either playing basketball or his passion for the theater alongside the fact that his girlfriend Gabrielle (Vanessa Hudgens), may not be close to him during college.

For all you fans who love the music sequences, you'll definitely enjoy the film as Kenny Ortega and Chuckiy Kaplow and Bonnie Story bring the Wildcats' Senior Year to life with all the dance moves to get you off of your feet. From the beginning sequence of the boys on the basketball court to the culmination of graduation, kids will have new songs to hum and dance to.

This past Sunday, October 12, 2008, I also attended the press junket for the film. All the major HSM3 cast members were there to talk about their experiences throughout their HSM life. The only cast member not in attendance was Lucas Grabeel. Rumor has it that he's filming a movie on location.

Here's audio of the press conference that was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills as soon as I figure out the media player codes.

This first file is the press conference with Peter Baroscchini, Monique Coleman, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Olesya Rulin, and Barry Rosenbush

Gerard Butler Rock N Rollas on the red carpet

This past Monday, October 6, 2008, Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Idris Elba and Joel Silver took to the carpet for the Los Angeles Premiere of "RockNRolla."

Absent from the premiere was Madz husband Guy Ritchie who directed the film. Rumors abound from Guy had to attend Madonna concert in New York to he just couldn't make it.

Opps just as I was typing this ...News Flash....The Los Angeles Police Department had filed a misdemeanor charge against Gerard Butler in regards to a photographer. The incident happened overnight in Hollywood off Hollywood Blvd and Wilton. A spokesperson for Butler has not returned calls to the media. Sounds like another pap getting in the face of Mr. Butler...(not to be confused with event photographers who work the red carpets at sanctioned events).

As event photographers, we know Mr. Butler tolerates the red carpet shooters but has no real care for the paps that roam the street.

Going back to the premiere at hand. Mr. Butler was pretty much low key at the premiere of his film while he joined his other cast mates on the carpet.

Idris Elba was enjoying the carpet also. Wearing a Bob Marley shirt, I blurted out, "Hey Idris! Right in front of you please! We jammin!." Elba responds back, "We definitely Jammin!"

Thandie Newton was looking lovely. I was bit confused though with her dress. I it looked like she was wrapped in some type of saran wrap or it could've just been my eyes playing tricks on me.

Joel Silver with his wife Karyn

As for the film according to Yahoo the film is summarized as A Russian mobster orchestrates a crooked land deal, putting millions of dollars up for grabs and attracting all of London's criminal underworld. The film runs about 1hr and 54 mins.

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt take a bite into Taco Bell

Heidi & Spencer are definitely milking their reality stardom as much as they can as they attended publicity stint for Taco Bell's Reality Check Challenge to fight hunger.

Kind of funny that they don't do much except have their lives splashed on tv through MTV's "The Hills" reality show (or not..supposedly semi-scripted).

The twosome took a bite out of hunger by participating in the Taco Bell Challenge.

Here's a vid of the two staged to serve patrons at the drive thru window.

Spencer has his usual mouth of sarcasm. This time aimed at talking about Harvey Levin's weight. Harvey is known for is TMZ show.

God Bless America 4 yr old style

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the red carpet but just thought you all might get a kick out of my 4yr old nephew singing "God Bless America." I really don't know where he learned it, We were just watching tv and then all of a sudden he saw the American Flag and started singing "God Bless America."
