Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana meld in 3D

If your niece, daughter, sister or anyone for that matter that's into Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus and missed her overpriced concert, then you're in luck with "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert in 3D featuring the Jonas Brothers."

Imagine being at the concert without having to pay concert prices and still feel like you're there or even better. While waiting for the press check-in to open, I was speaking to a colleague from TV Guide. She had seen the special press screening the night before and told me and my niece that it was totally awesome. There is one point in the movie where the drummer flicks his drumsticks in the air and when they fall down onto the drums, there's a camera underneath that captures the shot and makes it seem like the sticks are coming at you.

Walking the red carpet were the usual ABC/Disney children talent from Madison Pettis to Ashley Tisdale. Having my niece with me help gain some smiles and attention from the celebrities. Some even had a quizical (sic) look on their faces as they heard my seven-year old niece Madison shout, "Up Here! Second row!" Oh my gosh! An event photographer in the making.

My niece, Madison, makes her red carpet debut.

Selena Gomez puts a hex on the photographers with her pretty smile.

Madison Pettis is in the house!

Miley Cyrus' tv brother Jason Earles graces us with his comedic presence.

The Jonas Brothers were a bit hard to photograph. Trying to get all three to look at the cameras. They created one of the loudest screams on Hollywood Blvd that night.

Miley Cyrus definitely has her own look on the carpet. She had a lot more eye make-up than usual and darker hair.

Speaking of darker hair. Disney publicist thought it would be cute to have all the photographers wear Hannah Montana wigs. I had to laugh because it looked more like the cast of Spinal Tap meets Hannah Montana.

Ashley Tisdale fixes her hair on the carpet.

Jennifer Tisdale makes her appearance at the premiere on the carpet. A little tidbit about Miss J Tisdale: She used to only want to be known as Jen Kelly and not Tisdale.

Director/choreographer Kenny Ortega demonstrates his moves at the premiere.

"Ugly Beatty" star Vanessa Williams puts a fashion spin on the carpet.

I just had to add this video of Hannah singing the song "Old Blue Jeans." My niece got me into this song when she was playing her Hannah Montana WII game.

Watch out for Cloverfield, Something Has Found Us

According to the tag line of "Cloverfield," "Something has found us!" However, last night, celebrities found the intrigue of "Cloverfield" as they made their way to the Paramount Theater at Paramount Studios for the premiere of the film.

Just seeing the dismembered body of the Statue of Liberty has brought a lot of attention to Cloverfield. The film is about five young New Yorkers who throw a going-away party the night a monster the size of skyscraper attacks the city. Imagine a Blair Witch style feature in which the film is like a documentary of the horrors and the attacks that this monster reigns on New York City.

"Cloverfield" opens nationwide on January 18, 2008.

"Cloverfield" stars who showed up included: Michael Stahl-David, Jessica Lucas, Odette Yustman and "Mean Girl" star Lizzy Caplan.

Odette Yustman.

Michael Stahl-David still getting used to the flashes from the photographers.

Lizzy Caplan has shed her Janice look and now shows her sexy side.

Jessica Lucas adorns the carpet with a bright colored number.

Creator J.J. Abrams takes time from his creative thinking space to show off his new monster.

"Cloverfield" director Matt Reeves makes it to the red carpet with date Melinda Wang.

Instead of the monster descending upon the Paramount Theater, we had more than a handful of celebs descending on the red carpet. From the tabloid headlining Lindsay Lohan to reality stars Lauren Conrad, Audrina Partridge, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag shot their smiles back at the event photographers.

Lindsay Lohan twirls into an over the shoulder pose.

Audrina Partridge shows off her short green dress. I thought it was my camera but she did have some kind of stain on her dress.

Heidi Montag is red hot in her red dress and her new Maxim body.

Spencer Pratts shows off his pretty boy pearly whites.

Even the wind storm didn't stop upcoming "Star Trek" stars Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine from beaming up to the premiere.

The new Spock, Zachary Quinto shows his serious side with glasses.

Chris Pine mesmerizes the camera with his piercing blue eyes.

Jesse Metcalfe has time away from the Gym to see what monster we have to be scared of.

Frankie Muniz muscles it up on the red carpet.

Ashley Tisdale graduates from "High School Musical" to "Cloverfield."

The other Ashley as in Ashlee Simpson shows off her new burgundy hair color.

The Air I Breathe Premiere Starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Brendan Fraser and Andy Garcia

Last night, ThinkFilm and h Magazine presented the Los Angeles Premiere of "The Air I Breathe" starring Andy Garcia, Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Forest Whitaker, all happening at the Arclight Theaters in Hollywood.

The film is about a businessman (Forest Whitaker) who bets his life on a horse race, a gangster (Brendan Fraser) who can see the future, and a pop star (Sarah Michelle Gellar) whose life becomes entangled with a crime boss (Andy Garcia) and a doctor (Kevin Bacon) who must save the crime boss' life. The stories of each individual segues into each other to dramatize the four emotional cornerstones in life which include happiness, pleasure, sorrow and love.

The stars last night didn't have to worry about any of those life's emotions as they walked the red carpet.

Sarah Michelle Gellar looked stunning in your aqua hued dress that reminded me of some type of Egyptian inspired fashion motiff.

Brendan Fraser was all dressed in black as he was entranced by the photographers screaming out Sarah's name.

John Cho of "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" fame, was more low keyed in a relaxed sports jacket and a t-shirt emblazoned with the words "No Pictures." Interesting. Did he mean he didn't want any pictures to be taken of him or that there are no pictures being filmed because of the writers' strike?

Phoebe Price's dress matched her fiery red hair as she walked the carpet. One ambitious photographer got her to stand next to the Tribal jewelry cart and act like she was shopping for some costume jewelry.

Mr Andy Garcia had a quick pace on the carpet as he doesn't seem to like the picture taking part of the carpet. He looked a bit serious but we know he's not as serious as he thinks. Just that afternoon during the press junket for the movie, my feature writer colleague asked him about his "New Dream Project" and he replied back, "Oh, my nude dream project!" Hmmm...a jokester in disguise?

The film director Jieho Lee was accompanied by his famous Korean actress wife Min Kim.

Unfortunately, Mr Whitaker and Mr. Bacon did not show up to the premiere. Oh well there goes my 1 degree of separation from Kevin Bacon.

How She Move - Movin Down The Carpet

Last night was a hip-hopping and choreographing red carpet Los Angeles Premiere of "How She Move" at the Paramount Theater on the Paramount Studios Lot in Hollywood. MTV and Paramount Pictures showed the crowd how to hype it up with hip-hop dancers doing their thing on the mini-go go boxes placed all along the red carpet.

Not many known stars in the film but many known in the gritty step dance arena. "How She Move" is a film about a young woman who step dances her her way to the top to prove that girls make it in this male dominated step dancing arena. Rutina Wesley makes her debut in the film featuring step dance sequences choreographed by Hi Hat.

"How She Move" opens January 25, 2008 nationwide.

For Rutina, this was a crowning moment of her debut film. Sporting a mini-tiara in her hair illustrated the queen she was for the day.

Screenwriter Annmarie Morais smiles for the camera.

Latin Dance/hip hop duet Prima J takes a quick moment from their schedule to check out "How She Move."

Dwain Murphy stars as local steppin' champ Bishop in the film.

Hi Hat along with her guest strolls down the carpet.

Smoove groover Baby Bash shows his support for "How She Move." Bash shared a tidbit that he's just finished working on a single with Frankie J that has a bit of the groove in the realms of "Suga Suga"

Up and coming r&b/hip hop crooning kool kat Steph Jones makes his way through the red carpet traffic jam to show off his unique threads.

Steph Jones jumps into the shot with his comedian buddy DeRay Davis. These boys know how to liven up a red carpet event.

"How She Move" star Brennan Gademans and 1st unit director, LIL X, chill on the carpet while the dj drops beats.

New guy group Varsity make their red carpet debut at the "How She Move" premiere. They're headed to Stockholm to finish up their last track on their album. Guess we will not see them at the "Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds 3D" movie premiere at the El Capitan this coming January 17.

Lil JJ says, "Wazzup."

Rapper Yung Berg sporting his blinged out skateboard necklaces then gives me a peek at his colorful grill.

QUEEN AND KATE GET MAD MONEY

Another day, another premiere. This time the red carpet was actually green at the Mann's Village Theater this past January 9. Rumors abound if Tom Cruise would attend the premiere of Mad Money with his wife. There were the peeps who said "No" because he didn't want to hog the limelight. To the surprise of the media, he did show up but didn't hog the limelight the same way he didn't hog Will Smith's hand and footprint event at the Mann's Chinese Theater.

What's up with silver these days. Katie Holmes showed up in a nice silver dress a-la Katherine Heigl in a silver dress also at her recent premiere. With her short sassy hair do, it seemed like Katie didn't want Tom to leave her side but he finally broke away to sign autographs right when Katie got to the video line.

As for Diane Keaton, as usual she didn't really stop for the photogs. It's like she must be scared of the camera or something or does all the flash give her headaches? It was a bit of a disappointment because she was one of the lead actresses in "Mad Money" along with Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes.

Now Miss Queen Latifah was different story. She was basking in the limelight even to the point of doing some robot and poplocking moves. Thank goodness she went natural with her hair do. She just had it pulled back in a bun.

My favorite Italian chef was there - Miss. Giada DeLaurentiis. I was a bit surprised that some of my event photographer colleagues didn't recognize her. But I got a big thank you and smile from Miss. Giada when I said, "I love your cooking show Giada!"

Up and coming Lebanese actor Haaz Sleiman made a quick pitstop for his own Mad Money. His next big movie will be "The Visitor."

Heigl only likes 1 of the 27 Dresses

It was a cold Monday evening this past January 7, 2008 at The Mann's Village Theater in Westwood, CA. Waiting for the premiere for "27 Dresses" to commence, had my fingers slightly frozen. Imagine the actresses in their opulent dresses, they'd definitely be cold. The first on the carpet was Maria Menounos who at first was not about to take off her coat. With a little coaxing from the event photographers, she finally relented and showed us her beautiful red colored dress. There was a bit of a draft that caused her dress to ride up a bit but she was able to grab hold of her dress before she had a Marilyn Monroe accident.

From then on, we thought that this event would live up to the expectation of a wedding reception. To no avail, for the next half hour, lesser known talent paraded their way on the red carpet. Finally, we had the lovely Judy Greer make her appearance.

Jennifer Love Hewitt made a surprise appearance with her man. No matter what the tabloids say about her figure, she definitely looked faboo.

After much anticipation, 27 women came waltzing down the carpet dresses in the specially made bridesmaid dresses adorned with the movie credits and became the backdrop of the red carpet. For video that was great but for us event photographers, it created a bit of a blur for our background. Once these lovely ladies staked their spots, Miss Heigl or shall I say Mrs. Kelley along with her new husband waltzed on down the carpet with the smiles of a newlywed couple. Dressed in a silver dress adorned with what looked like crystals, Heigl braved the cold weather and smiled the whole time. As for the 27 bridesmaid dresses she wore for the movie, she mentioned that their was only one she enjoyed wearing. Believe it or not, it was a Gone With The Wind inspired dress. She just loved feeling like a southern belle.
